David Rompf of the New Yorker covers the proposed rocket launch site at Granot Loma, highlighting environmental and community concerns, and exposing the lack of economic benefit. From the article: “The annual revenue generated from a launch cadence of one rocket launch per week in Michigan would have the same revenue impact in the State equal to the annual revenue of two additional fast-food chain restaurants. The I.Q.M. report is a stunning counter-argument to the claims in the studies that MAMA published, including one in which both launch sites are deemed “not only technically feasible but also feasible in economic and financial terms.”
