Yahoo!Tech: Environmental experts express concern about SpaceX after company’s second test flight results in further damage to local area

In Boca Chica, Texas, SpaceX's launch site is used to test some of their largest rockets. This is having an extremely detrimental effect to the local environment, with a recent explosion creating a 385-acre debris field and 3.5-acre fire, harming local sensitive wildlife populations as well as damaging private property. This article presents even more evidence of why a spaceport at Granot Loma would have had disastrous effects to our environment. We're proud to have defeated it, but no community should have to give up the health of their local environment for industrial interests.
